Queen Nefertiti - Egypt
This stamp is one of my earliest acquisitions. Interestingly, it is worth more in used condition than mint, though still not much: £0.80 vs £1.
It shows the classic bust of Queen Nefertiti and was issued in October 1956 to commemorate the "Semaine Internationale des Musees", International Museum Week (SG 518).
