Egypt issued this set of three stamps for the UNESCO Campaign in 1965 (SG 864-6). Each depicts a monument of Abu Simbel: Ramses II, the Great Hall of Pillars and the colossi of Ramses II.
A souvenir sheet was also issued (SG 867) which shows a cartouche of one of the names of Pharaoh Ramses II, "User-Maat-Re Setep-En-Re", The King of Upper and Lower Egypt.
