These stamps were issued in Algeria in 1964 for the UNESCO Campaign to preserve the monuments of Nubia. The first one depicts a painting from Abu Simbel showing Ramses II on his war chariot (SG 435); the second shows the colossal statues of Ramses II (SG 436).
